
A resort tradition for more than a decade, “Celebrate Gospel” concerts return to Disneyland Resort – in a new location at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage for the first time across two weekends – February 20-21 and February 27-28. Grammy Award-winning gospel performerswill headline the two weekends, featuring Bishop Hezekiah Walker on February 21 and Yolanda Adams on February 28. This annual tribute to Gospel music brings together top artists and community choirs from across Southern California, accessible for all visitors of the Downtown Disney District and does not require park admission to enjoy.
New for 2026, a heritage trail of dynamic displayswill debut across the resort, celebrating influential Black leaders, artists and thinkers from the past and present. resort, celebrating influential Black leaders, artists and thinkers from the past and present. Highlights of the displays include tributes to individuals like restaurateur Leah Chase, animator Ron Husband, Disney Legend Martha Blanding, animator Floyd Norman and more.
From Feb. 1 through 28, the soulful celebration expands during Black History Month with limited-time menu items, such as the New Orleans BBQ shrimp from Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining in Disney California Adventure Park and the French Quarter fried chicken bowl from Tiana’s Palace in Disneyland Park.
Throughout the year, guests can discover Celebrate Soulfully experiences inspired by Black heritage and culture, from taking a ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, dining at Tiana’s Palace restaurant and shopping at Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Sweets, the “Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje” experience and more. At select times, guests may also spot Joe Gardner from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Soul” playing smooth jazz tunes in the lobby of Pixar Place Hotel.
