The Iverson Classic Showcase Presented By SHOWTIME Basketball Will Feature Camden High School vs. Don Bosco Prep Live on the SHOWTIME BASKETBALL YouTube Channel
UNION, N.J. – January 6, 2023 – SHOWTIME® Basketball is in New Jersey for two days of elite high school basketball, where the burgeoning platform will stream its first-ever game broadcast. The Iverson Classic Showcase presented by SHOWTIME Basketball features the highly anticipated matchup between Camden High School (NJ) and Don Bosco Prep (NJ). The game, which takes place at Kean University, will be broadcast live on the SHOWTIME Basketball YouTube Channel and will be called by CBS Sports’ Brent Stover alongside two-time NBA Champion JR Smith. Watch for free tonight, January 6, beginning live at 7:30 pm ET.
Some of the best high school players in the country will be on display at this year’s Iverson Classic. DJ Wagner, the Kentucky University commit, son of former NBA player Dajuan Wagner and No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2023 according to 247Sports, will suit up for Camden alongside fellow Kentucky commit and No. 6-ranked Aaron Bradshaw. Don Bosco will be led by Dylan Harper, son of former NBA player Ron Harper and the No. 8 prospect in the Class of 2024 according to 247Sports.
The Iverson Classic Showcase game is part of the New Jersey Blackout Signature Series, a new boys high school basketball event presented by SHOWTIME Basketball and Iverson Classic. Top-ranked players and teams from across the country will participate in two days of play at Roselle Catholic High School and Kean University. The Iverson Classic is emerging as the premiere All-American game for boys and girls high school basketball. Fifteen Iverson Classic alumni, including No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks Paolo Banchero and Chet Holmgren, were selected in the 2022 NBA Draft.
