Great Basketball movie! Adam Sandler achieved the difficult task of paying homage to Basketball greats – Julius Erving, Mark Jackson, Kenny Smith, Dirk Nowitzki, Street game legends and countless others while at the same time creating an authentic NBA environment. He puts us right in the thick of the grueling process of becoming mentally and physically prepared for the rigors of making it in the league.
After discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down on his luck basketball scout (Adam Sandler) takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval. Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
